Building Project

We have now moved into our new premises at 28 Duke Street.

We have a certificate of public use from the Council which enables us to occupy and use all of the ground floor of the building. Operating out of the new premises has opened up a bunch of opportunities that service the community. The Trust has always had a desire to offer a unique facility that is an asset serving the infrastructure of the local area.

The $3.2m project (total cost) will be a significant investment in the infrastructure of the town of Cambridge. Intended as a multi purpose venue with 400+ seat auditorium, cafe, function rooms, etc, it will provide Bridges Church with a home-base, while at the same time offer the wider community a facility that is unique. Already community groups including schools, sports clubs and so on are interested in how the completed building might service their needs on occasions. The project is entirely dependent on the generosity of people for the finances needed.

Synergy (Cambridge) Trust is continuing to move forward with a capital fundraising campaign to enable us complete the final stage of the project, which is fitting out the first floor including the auditorium.

The Trust is grateful for all funds (as well as donated goods and services to date) and welcomes further offers of support or interest.
